librpcsecgss3 software package provides allows secure rpc communication using the rpcsec_gss protocol, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librpcsecgss3
librpcsecgss3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librpcsecgss3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librpcsecgss3 *
You will get with librpcsecgss3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
